Wonderful Weekend!

This weekend was our weekend away. For Christmas I asked for a trip away with just the five of us. Scott planned a trip to Splash Universe in Dundee. We ended up leaving little Miss Ahna behind and it was a good decision. She wouldn't have tolerated being in the pools all day and then sleeping at the hotel well either. We had tons of fun. We pulled Kenz out of school early on Friday and ended down. We checked in and headed straight to the water park. It was perfect size for our family...not sure kids over the age of 10 would enjoy it so much though. It wasn't real big but was perfect for us. The kids were very brave and did very well in the water. Braxton jumped right in and had a blast. We took a break mid day and had some snacks and then hit the park again. We took the kids to eat at the Treehouse Pub and Grub, and then to the arcade. They were exhausted but they had a hard time going to sleep. For some reason our children hate sleeping at hotels...grr. Saturday they spent some time in the water park again but not for long...they were too tired. We then headed over to Cabelas to walk around and check it out. The kids loved seeing all the displays but didnt' last long...they needed a nap. The weekend was great.
